Eid Holidays: The announcement made by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday stated that it will be closed from the 10th to the 12th of April 2024, encompassing Wednesday through Friday, in observance of the public holidays marking Eid ul Fitr.
Consequently, all commercial banks across the nation will follow suit, shutting their doors on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Earlier in the day, the Cabinet Division issued a notification delineating a three-day and four-day holiday period for Eid ul Fitr, accommodating various office schedules.
As per the notification, the holiday period will span from Wednesday to Friday for offices adhering to a standard five-day work week, while establishments operating on a six-day schedule will extend the holidays until Saturday.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will also halt its operations for a duration of five days, encompassing Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the following week.
