Karachi: The price of gold has witnessed a significant prices drop in both global and local markets, according to the All Pakistan Jewellers and Gems Association.

As of today, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 1,400 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand 300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs 1,200, making it Rs 2 lakh 6 thousand 19.

In the global market, gold prices have also seen a significant drop, with a decrease of $16 per ounce, bringing it down to $2,326.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also witnessed a decline, with a decrease of Rs 80 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 2,820.

This significant decline in gold and silver prices is expected to boost demand in the market, especially ahead of the upcoming wedding season.
