In a surprising turn of events, the prices of solar panels in Pakistan have witnessed a significant drop, while inverter prices have skyrocketed. According to recent reports, the cost of 2 solar panels of 580 watts has decreased to Rs 48,000, down from Rs 1 lakh 9 thousand.

However, the price of an 185 ampere battery has increased by Rs 8,000 to Rs 43,000, while the price of an inverter has risen by Rs 10,000 to Rs 45,000 due to a shortage.

This development comes as Pakistan continues to embrace solar energy as a viable alternative to conventional power sources. With the country’s net metering volume reaching 1735 megawatts, the demand for solar panels and related equipment is on the rise.
