Mari Petroleum Limited recently achieved a significant breakthrough in the Sindh region, specifically uncovering promising findings in the second Ghazij formation after drilling down to a depth of 1,014 meters.
This exploration marks a noteworthy contribution to the region’s energy resources, with an expected daily output of 6.57 million standard cubic feet of gas once the drilling process is complete.
The gas well’s pressure in the Ghazij formation registered at 306 pounds per square inch, indicating favorable conditions for extraction. The next step involves initiating test production, pending the completion of necessary regulatory formalities.
It’s worth mentioning that Mari Petroleum Limited holds the exclusive operator position in Mari D&PL, maintaining a 100% working interest in this venture.
