Government Set to Raise Petrol Prices in Upcoming Petroleum Review

ISLAMABAD: The government is likely to announce a significant reduction in petroleum prices soon, according to media reports. The price of petrol is expected to drop by up to Rs 12 per litre, providing relief to the public.

The expected price drop is attributed to the decline in global oil prices, which have fallen by $5.14 per barrel, bringing the price to $89 per barrel. Similarly, diesel prices have decreased by $4, trading at $93.88 per barrel.
