The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has issued a new health advisory for Hajj applicants. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has received a health advisory related to Hajj 2025 from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, according to which individuals suffering from complex diseases will not be allowed to travel for Hajj.

According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, only healthy and able-bodied pilgrims will be allowed to travel for Hajj, considering the severe weather conditions. Patients with complex diseases such as kidney, heart, lung, liver, and cancer will not be allowed to travel for Hajj. Individuals with dementia and contagious diseases such as TB, typhoid, and whooping cough will also not be allowed to travel for Hajj.
The spokesperson further stated that children under the age of 12 and pregnant women will also not be allowed to travel for Hajj. Pilgrims will be required to get vaccinated against meningitis, coronavirus, seasonal influenza, and polio.
