In an official statement, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) outlined Ramadan timings and operational schedules for banks during Ramadan. Following a directive from the central bank’s Banking Policy & Regulations Department, these adjusted timings will apply to both internal operations and customer service hours.

SBP & Bank Operational Hours for Ramadan:
- Monday-Thursday: Offices will be functional from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a designated prayer break from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
- Friday: Offices will operate from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with no breaks scheduled.
Public Banking Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: Banks will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, operating continuously without a break.
- Friday: Public banking hours are from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, similar to office hours with no breaks.
These adjusted timings will automatically return to pre-Ramadan schedules upon the conclusion of the holy month.
