The revised list of candidates is set to be published on January 11, with the final date for candidate withdrawals and the ultimate publication of the revised list scheduled for January 12.
The allocation of election symbols to competing candidates is planned for January 13, marking the conclusion of the general elections on February 8.
This election schedule is pertinent to seats reserved for women and non-Muslims in the national and provincial assemblies of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. The official schedule designates December 22 as the last date for submitting nominations for reserved seats before the ROs.
Concurrently, the ECP has announced the recommencement of training for District Returning Officers (DROs) and Returning Officers (ROs) in preparation for the impending general elections. Training sessions for ROs are slated for December 17-18, while DROs will undergo training on December 19.
