The Punjab government has made a special announcement for Eid ul-Adha 2024, declaring that public sector employees will receive their salaries earlier than usual, ahead of the upcoming Eid ul-Adha celebrations. This benevolent decision, made by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aims to provide financial comfort to government employees during the festive season.

The Finance Department is working diligently to ensure that salaries are paid out by June 13, 2024, to help employees manage their Eid expenses more easily. This considerate move is expected to significantly alleviate the financial strain on employees, enabling them to fully enjoy the Eid celebrations without worrying about their expenses.
