Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Achieved A New Record High Surpasses 74,500

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved a new record high today, surpassing 74,500 and breaking the previous peak of 73,799 set on Monday.

Continuing the positive trends from the previous day, optimism fueled by the International Monetary Fund sustained the market’s momentum.

The market concluded the day at 74,531 points, a rise of 732 points or 0.99 percent. A strong buying trend throughout the session contributed to this new milestone.

Additionally, the KMI 30 index climbed by 1,687 points, reaching 123,918, while the KSE All Share index went up by 376 points to finish at 48,311.

The highest participation was witnessed in Cnergyico PK Limited (PSX: CNERGY) with over 34.3 million shares traded, followed by WorldCall Telecom Limited (PSX: WTL) and K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL). The scrips had 29.89 million shares and 28.16 million shares traded, respectively.
