The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is still in the process of finalizing election results 2024, with 48 hours passing since the conclusion of polling.
As of the current moment, the ECP’s website indicates that results for 9 National Assembly seats remain pending. Notably, a significant number of independent candidates supported by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have secured the highest number of seats.

Independent candidates are leading with 100 seats, followed by the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPP) with 73 and 54 seats, respectively.
The Muttahida Qomi Movement Pakistan has secured 17 National Assembly seats. In contrast, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, during a recent press conference, asserted that they have achieved victory in 170 seats.
In a noteworthy development, PML N chief Nawaz Sharif announced the formation of a coalition government last night. The former Prime Minister expressed the intention to engage with all political parties, including the PPP and MQM, in this collaborative effort.
