Saudi Arabia Implements Restrictions on Roza-e-Rasool Visits

The Saudi Arabian government, in an announcement on Saturday, has implemented new restrictions on multiple entries to Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH). The updated policy now explicitly forbids individuals from making more than one visit to this sacred site within a year.

To secure entry permits for Roza-e-Rasool, individuals are now required to utilize either the Nusuk or Tawakkalna App. Roza-e-Rasool Furthermore, visitors must declare their COVID-19 status, and the approval for entry will be contingent upon this health declaration.

While visits to Masjid e Nabwi remain unaffected, the decision to restrict annual entries to Roza-e-Rasool is a strategic measure to manage congestion. This initiative is prompted by the growing number of Muslims expressing the desire to visit the holy site. The government’s decision is in alignment with preparations for the upcoming Hajj, where an influx of over 2 million pilgrims is anticipated. This restriction is part of a comprehensive strategy to ensure the organized and smooth flow of visitors to these significant religious sites.
