The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the monthly salaries of national team players, with Category A players receiving PKR 4.5 million, Category B players getting PKR 3 million, and Category C and D players earning between PKR 1.5 million to PKR 2.5 million.
Contractual Increases
According to the PCB’s latest contracts, Category A players have seen a 202% increase in their monthly salaries, while Category B players have received a 144% hike. Category C and D players have seen increases of 135% and 127%, respectively.

Player Categories
The PCB had announced new contracts for national cricketers in September last year, categorizing them into A, B, C, and D based on their performance. Category A includes top players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan, who each receive a monthly salary of PKR 4.5 million.
Category B Players
Category B players, including Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, receive a monthly salary of PKR 3 million.
Category C and D Players
Players in Category C and D, including Imad Wasim, Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Saim Ayub, earn between PKR 1.5 million to PKR 2.5 million per month.
Additional Earnings
In addition to their monthly salaries, players also receive match fees and awards in all three formats.
