According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan drone downing occurred on February 25th. Remnants of the quadcopter, discovered yesterday, bore Indian Army insignia, confirming its origin.

The ISPR statement read, “On February 25, Pakistan Army downed an Indian spy drone which was violating the Line of Control.”

This event comes as Pakistan commemorates the 5th anniversary of Operation Swift Retort, a significant response to a previous Indian airspace violation in 2019. “Surprise Day,” as it’s known in Pakistan, is a testament to the Pakistani Air Force’s (PAF) capabilities in safeguarding its borders.
