Throughout the upcoming week, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) foresees rain, wind, and thunderstorms encompassing various regions across the country, punctuated by intermittent respites.

By April 24, a westerly wave is poised to approach the western territories, gradually extending its influence to the upper regions by April 26, where it is anticipated to instigate a series of weather phenomena.

In Balochistan, from April 24 (night) to April 27 (morning), Noushki, Pishin, Harnai, Zhob, and several other areas are bracing for rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy downpours.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa anticipates a mix of rain, windstorms, thunderstorms, and snowfall over high altitudes, affecting areas like Chitral, Dir, Swat, and more, starting from April 25 (evening/night) and persisting until April 29, intermittently accompanied by hailstorms at isolated locales.

In the Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir regions, Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, and other locales are poised for rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over high elevations from April 26 to April 29, interspersed with occasional gaps.

Punjab and Islamabad foresee rain, wind, and thunderstorms from April 26 to April 29, with varying intensity across locales like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and more, along with sporadic hailstorms in isolated spots.

Sindh braces for dust-thunderstorm and light rain in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, and other areas on April 25 and April 26.
