Supreme court Pakistan- The bail of ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case has been sanctioned by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The apex court has acknowledged the PTI leaders’ plea challenging the high court’s decision in the case, and they have been granted bail, each posting bail bonds of Rs1 million.

In the course of the hearing, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court, led by Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan Sardar Tariq Masood and including Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah, reviewed the petitions submitted by Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood contesting the Islamabad High Court’s ruling in the cipher case.
