Tesla Cybertruck: Elon Musk recently unveiled plans for a modification to equip Tesla’s Cybertruck to navigate 100 meters of water, essentially transforming it into a boat.
This announcement from Musk was prompted by a user’s post, demonstrating his engagement with the Tesla community.
The inspiration for this water-traversing feature originated from a video clip on “Jay Leno’s Garage,” where Lars Moravy, Tesla’s VP of vehicle engineering, suggested the Cybertruck’s potential as a boat with added buoyancy.
Moravy even hinted at the possibility of attaching an outboard motor to the Cybertruck for a unique boating experience.
Despite its initial reveal in 2019, Cybertruck deliveries only commenced in late November, with its distinctive design eliciting a mix of admiration and criticism.
