The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is set to disclose the unofficial results for all 859 constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies on Friday, February 9, as conveyed by a spokesperson in a conversation with APP.
Ensuring the conduct of free, fair, and transparent general elections nationwide, the ECP spokesperson affirmed that all necessary arrangements have been finalized.
The completion of printing 260 million ballot papers for every constituency was also announced, with National Assembly ballots distinguished by green paper and Provincial Assembly ballots printed on white paper.
Except for a few districts, the distribution of printed ballot papers throughout the country has been successfully concluded, following a printing process that initiated on January 14 and concluded on February 3.
In accordance with a Supreme Court directive, 11 National Assembly and five Provincial Assembly constituency ballot papers underwent a reprinting process, and the original papers are slated for destruction in adherence to the court’s order.
The spokesperson emphasized that a total of 260 million ballot papers were printed this time, reflecting a significant 54.74% increase in candidates compared to the preceding elections.

Despite a notable 195% surge in the demand for special paper, effective management efforts resulted in a reduction from 2,400 tonnes to 2,177 tonnes. The distribution of printed ballot papers encompasses 5% single-column, 50% double-column, 30% three-column, 11.15% four-column, and 2.4% five-column formats.
