Expressing pride in joining Punjab Police, Shadab Khan called upon the youth to consider government service as a means to contribute to the country’s development. He emphasized the importance of being the change one wishes to see, encouraging the younger generation to actively participate in government sectors for the betterment of Pakistan.
Notably, Shadab joins the ranks of fellow cricketers Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, who are currently serving in the Punjabs Police and Balochistan Police, respectively. Shadab, presently sidelined due to injury, will miss the upcoming five-match T20I series in New Zealand.
Taking to social media, he expressed well-wishes to the selected players for the bilateral series, assured a swift return to domestic cricket upon recovery, and highlighted the challenges faced by players fulfilling national responsibilities.
In his statement, Shadab urged support for Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi and the team, emphasizing the need for backing players currently representing the country on the international stage.
